Xun Zhang
Assistant Professor
Dr.Zhang joined the College of Business at Southern University of Science and Technology as an assistant professor in 2024.
Education
Previously, he obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at the National University of Singapore, and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Nanjing University in 2017.
Research Interests
His research interests primarily focus on asymptotic statistic theory, online resource allocation, and optimization algorithms, with applications in data-driven inventory management, airline revenue management, and large-scale machine learning.
He has many publications accepted or in revision in top journals, including Operations Research, Journal of Machine Learning Research, Production and Operations Management, and INFORMS Journal on Computing.
He also actively serves as a referee for several flagship journals of INFORMS, including Operations Research, Management Science, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.
