He Wang
Associate Professor(Teaching)
Wang He is a Teaching Associate Professor at the Business School and currently serves as the Assistant Dean of the School of Business, Assistant Director of the SUSTech Academy of Finance and Economics, Deputy Director of the Finance Department, a member of the China Committee of the Society of Actuaries (SOA) and the head of the Yingshang-SUSTech Joint Actuarial Center and the SUSTech-Youqian Data Center. His research areas include asset pricing, risk management, quantitative trading, and insurance technology. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in International Finance from Sun Yat-sen University, obtained an MBA in Finance from the Tsinghua-CUHK(The Chinese University of Hong Kong) joint program, and earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Washington State University in the United States.
Over the past 20 years, he has been deeply involved in the financial field, thoroughly understanding both financial theory and practical application. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, as the senior management in actuarial, financial, investment, marketing areas. Additionally, he has collaborated with the banking and securities industries and participated in policy formulation and consultation at the regulatory level.
